Census and survey of
advertising billboards
Each advertising installation on the territory corresponds to an authorization and a fee. The georeferenced census of billboards compares what is actually installed with what is on record, making the difference visible.
What we detect
- GPS position of each advertising installation
- Type and dimensions of the support, with the exposed surface
- Location: on public land, private property, or along the roadside
- Comparison with already issued authorizations and permits
- Supporting photographic material where necessary
What remains with the Municipality
- A complete overview of existing installations, authorized and unauthorized
- The database for fee verification and recovering tax evasion
- A tool for planning on-site inspections systematically
- Access from technical offices and smartphones during site visits
- Delivery on PostGIS database and publication on municipal WebGIS
How it works
We start with a site visit to define the area's extent and the required level of detail. This is followed by field surveys, validation of collected data, and delivery on the WebGIS. Where necessary, we train staff in the use of the software.
