Street numbering is the key linking people to places: registries, cadastre, taxes, emergency services, and deliveries all rely on it. When incomplete or misaligned, errors cascade across all systems.
What we detect
- GPS position of each street number and access point
- Access type: pedestrian or vehicular, on public or private land
- Association between street number, building, and municipal road
- Missing, duplicate, or no longer existing street numbers
- Supporting photographic material where necessary
What remains with the Municipality
- A civic address archive aligned with the street register and the registry office
- The foundation for updating data to regional and national databases
- Fewer delivery errors and fewer procedures blocked by inconsistent addresses
- Access from technical offices and smartphones during site visits
- Delivery on PostGIS database and publication on municipal WebGIS
How it works
We start with data already held by the Municipality and from the Tuscany Region portal, then verify in the field what is missing or inconsistent. This is followed by validation and delivery on the WebGIS. Where necessary, we train staff in the use of the software.
