Tuscan Leopoldine Land Register

The Leopoldino Cadastre, enacted in 1765 by Pietro Leopoldo, Grand Duke of Tuscany. Due to their highly precise geometric-parcel characteristics, the 19th-century cadastres remain, even today, a fundamental tool for studying and reconstructing the territorial layout of Tuscany before the major transformations that began at the end of the 19th century.
