The above parameters are fixed. Everything else is customized for you: the domain, user accounts, initial data, and if you wish, your brand instead of ours. Each step is followed by a SmartLands team member, and for this reason, the required time is clearly stated: 16 hours to set it up, 8 hours per year to support you afterward. At the list price of €35/hour.
Five seconds: how your platform is created.
The difference between the two plans is all here: setup is custom work and is counted in hours, and with the annual plan, we cover those hours for you. Prices include VAT.
Why does the monthly plan have a minimum commitment of 12 months?
Because the platform doesn't activate itself: before you can use it, there are 16 hours of human work—hosting and software configuration, setup, launch. That work is done only once, at the beginning. The 12-month commitment is what allows spreading it over installments instead of asking for it all upfront.
What is the real difference between monthly and annual?
Two things. With the annual plan, you pay 11 installments instead of 12, and you don't pay activation: the 16 hours of setup (which at list price are worth €560) are on us. With the monthly plan, you pay twelve installments and activation at the first payment.
Is activation paid every year?
No. It's one-time: paid at first activation and not at renewal. If you switch from annual to monthly later, you don't pay it again.
What do the 16 hours of setup include?
Hosting configuration, database, and software (resources, user accounts, certificates, backups)—handled by Fabio Cioni; then the actual setup, loading your data, checks, and support until the first real use, with Fabio Mancini and Giacomo Ponticelli.
What are the 8 hours of assistance included per year for?
For everything needed after launch: configuration changes, data interventions, new users and permissions, checks. These are in addition to the plan's technical support. If you need more, they can be purchased with One-to-One Training, at €35/h.
Can I have the platform with my domain and my brand?
Yes, and you choose them directly above: in the price box, you'll find Dedicated domain (+€120/year) and White label (€350 one-time). The price updates automatically as you choose. White label requires a dedicated domain. If you already have an active plan and want to add them later, they are also available as standalone products: Dedicated domain and White label.
How long before it's operational?
The technical part is the 16 hours of work mentioned above. The actual timeline depends on how much data needs to be uploaded and when you're ready: we'll set the start date together when placing the order.
