Tuscan Leopoldine Land Register
The Leopoldine land register was enacted in 1765 by Pietro Leopoldo, Grand Duke of Tuscany. Due to their highly precise geometric-parcel characteristics, 19th-century land registers remain, to this day, a fundamental tool for studying and reconstructing the territorial layout of Tuscany prior to the major transformations that began in the late 19th century.
